A glimpse

Doing the thing-
The very thing-
That I thought
I hated most
But doing it
With a wild, deep smile.
It turns out
It’s not that I hated it most,
It’s that I wanted it most.
It’s that the most me
Version of myself
Wanted it most and
Hadn’t met me yet and
We hadn’t yet linked arms.
